A market celebrating the autumn equinox and harvest will take place at Kalnciema Quarter. Home producers will offer pies, bread, sklandrausis, smoked meat and fish, while farmers will bring autumn vegetables, preserves, honey, apple juice, and other treats. Craftspeople will also offer warm scarves and jackets.

The Latvian National Museum of Literature and Music invites you to visit an exhibition dedicated to the outstanding Latvian director and pioneer of puppet animation, Arnolds Burovs. The museum holds more than a hundred puppets from puppet theater plays and animated films, and this exhibition features puppets created for the director's animated films "Umurkumurs" (1976), "Bimini" (1981), and others.
